On Letting Go
I was always a very attached person. I held on to things, both material and immaterial, for dear life. I was afraid of letting go, of losing what I had.

Toxic Relationships
I met my ex-partner when I was 22 years old. We were both in college, and we quickly fell in love. He was everything I had ever wanted in a boyfriend: he was kind, funny, and supportive.

Setting Boundaries
I'm a people pleaser. I love making people happy and helping out, but I've learned that setting boundaries is important for my mental health.
I used to say yes to everything, even when I was already busy. I'd volunteer for projects at work even when I was overloaded. I'd help out friends and family even if it meant sacrificing my own needs.
Change for the Better
I was always the shy kid in school. I never spoke up in class, and I avoided social situations at all costs. I was afraid of being judged or rejected, so I just kept to myself.
I carried this shyness with me into adulthood. I had a hard time making friends, and I was always afraid to take risks. I felt like I was missing out on a lot of life, but I didn't know how to change

It's Okay to Fail
A perfectionist was afraid of failure. They wanted to be the best at everything they did, and they hated making mistakes. This attitude held them back a lot in their life.
They didn't get the job they wanted because they were afraid of failing the interview. They didn't ask out the person they liked because they were afraid of rejection. They didn't start their own business because they were afraid of failing.
